Back to School Supply Drive- Please bring supplies with you tonight!
With gas and grocery prices on the rise, the beginning of the school year can be a very difficult time for many families. As NABA DFW members, we can help with our Back-to-School Supply Drive. All donations will benefit the Alley’s House, whose mission is “empowering teen mothers and their children to achieve independence through support services, education and mentoring.” All supplies are needed, but there is a large need for backpacks and notebook paper. Other items to consider donating are: pencils, markers, crayons, highlighters, notebooks, pocket folders, rulers, and binders. The chapter’s goal is to donate at least $200 in supplies to Alley House. Please bring your school supply donations to the August 14th meeting. Please address any questions to naba_dfw@yahoo.com.
